JACCKA CONNOR (8) looks close to a win having placed at this circuit and distance in his last two outings, coming from this barrier to go under by less than 3m last week. Big chance. ODIN (9) has had nearly two months off since contesting the Vicbred Super Series but has been kept up to the mark with a trial win. Better placed here and owns a good record at this circuit and distance. MARTYR (7) returns to the mainland having put together a string of wins in Tasmania late last year. Should measure up. JUST AS WELL (1) led from a couple of spots wider when beaten only 4m last week so could give a sight from the ace draw.
