Star mare KEAYANG ZAHARA (3) has been kept fresh since adding to her Group 1 haul by overcoming a second row draw and showing her quality in the Great Square in Brisbane last month. She visits BENDIGO for the first time and it is interesting to note that her lone defeat in 21 starts came the only time she attempted the mile but she is the clear class runner and should right that wrong. ARCEE PHOENIX (5) hasn't won since last July's Inter Dominion Final but has produced some nice efforts in that time including a second to Keayang Zahara in the Dullard Cup. Has had two months off since a trek to NZ but goes well fresh and has won five of seven attempts here. IM BOBBY (8) improved off a fresh second to win from a 30m handicap at Melton last start. Has won three of five tries at this distance and put together a string of wins last time in so could progress further. OLLIVICI (2) broke last time but won two in a row prior and is aided by the draw. Include ROCKINWITHATTITUDE (6) second up.
