Kept fresh since but races well that way and has won nine of 12 attempts at the distance. Boom pacer KINGMAN (8) was a revelation with a string of wins last year including the Victoria and New Zealand Cups, beating superstar Leap To Fame both times. Hasn't raced since his Christian Cullen win at Addington in November but goes well fresh. Tricky draw on the second line and could be a little vulnerable at the mile off a let-up but is all class. PETRACCA (1) will be fit having won three of four starts since a long stint on the sidelines. Tackles some big guns tonight but has the speed to take advantage of the ace draw so should get his chance. Multiple Group 1 winner CATCH A WAVE (2) loves the mile and is an exotic player from a good draw as is evergreen BULLETPROOF BOY (9) who knows how to win from the back row.
