May just need a bit of luck at some point from this difficult draw. Finds a nice race and can make amends. FIRST LIGHT (10) has been racing well of late. Finished fifth at her latest appearance over 2400m at Central Southland Raceway, beaten 7 metres. May need luck at some stage extracting from the inside of the second row. Leading hope based on those recent efforts. BABE ON THE BEACH (3) disappointed last time when ninth over 2600m at Addington. Can bounce back. DAME WEST (7) is in the mix following a respectable second at her most recent appearance over 2400m at Central Southland Raceway.
