MUSSEL SHOALS (2) gave a good sight last week when she led from a couple of spots wider and stuck on for a 1.6m second at Charlton. That continued her good form, including an Echuca win last month. Yet to miss a place at this distance and she has the gate speed to take advantage of the low draw. BETTES BLUE VIOLET (3) came from the back line when scoring by 1.3m here last month. That saw her unbeaten at this circuit and distance. With the aid of a good draw she could maintain that perfect record. MARLO MAREAU (7) must be considered after she drew on this row and worked but stuck on for a 3.6m third here last week. ALIZA HILL (4) has been tackling higher-graded races in Victoria and owns a good record at this distance.
