Mohamed Touré Bio
Mohamed Touré's journey from a refugee camp in Conakry, Guinea to the EFL Championship is one of the most extraordinary stories in Australian football.
Born on 26 March 2004 to Liberian parents who spent 14 years in a Guinean refugee camp, Touré's family moved to Australia in November 2004, settling in Adelaide's northern suburbs. Football became his world from an early age, growing up playing in the backyard with his brothers Al Hassan and Musa and coming through the Croydon Kings junior system.
Known as "Mo" to his teammates, Touré combines searing pace, physical strength and a natural instinct for goal that has drawn comparisons to some of the game's great strikers.
He is described by his teammates as a "firecracker," and after 12 goal contributions in just 11 Championship appearances for Norwich City, the rest of the world is starting to agree.

Mohamed Touré Club Career
Touré's talent was unmistakable from the moment he broke into senior football. He made his A-League debut for Adelaide United in February 2020 at just 15 years old, becoming the third youngest debutant and youngest goalscorer in A-League history.
He went on to score seven goals in 42 A-League appearances for the Reds, the most goals scored by any A-League Men's player under the age of 18.
In July 2022, his performances earned him a move to French club Stade de Reims, where he developed initially with the reserve side before breaking into the first team.
A loan spell with Paris FC in the 2023-24 season provided further competitive experience, before he made his Reims first-team debut in May 2023.
In July 2024, Touré joined Danish Superliga club Randers FC on a four-year contract. He made an immediate impact in Denmark, scoring 11 goals in 39 appearances and developing into one of the Superliga's most dangerous forwards.
His form attracted attention across Europe and on 1 February 2026, Norwich City signed him for a reported €3 million on a four-and-a-half year deal.
His impact at Norwich has been instant and spectacular. He scored on his substitute debut against Blackburn Rovers before producing a hat-trick in his first start, a 3-0 win over Oxford United, opening the scoring with his first touch of the game.
He then added a second hat-trick against Bristol City the following month. Across 11 Championship appearances, Touré has registered 12 goal contributions, making him one of the most talked-about strikers in English football.
Mohamed Touré International Career
Touré made his debut for the Australian men's soccer team on 13 October 2023 against England and has continued to develop into a key figure in the national setup ever since.
On 9 September 2025, he announced himself on the international stage in memorable fashion, scoring twice against New Zealand in the Soccer Ashes, a performance that signalled his readiness for the highest level.
He also came on as a substitute in the crucial 2-1 World Cup qualifying win over Saudi Arabia in Jeddah in June 2025, helping Australia seal their sixth consecutive World Cup finals appearance.
With nine caps and two international goals heading into the North America World Cup, Touré's explosive form for Norwich and his growing comfort on the international stage have positioned him as the most compelling attacking option in Tony Popovic's squad.
At just 22, heading into his first World Cup, the best of Mohamed Touré may be yet to come.
