Wests Tigers vs The Dolphins Prediction - Round 16 2026

18/06/2026|Joel Caine|NRL Expert Predictions & Tips

The Dolphins roll into Campbelltown full of belief, riding a six-match winning streak that has rocketed Kristian Woolf’s side into the top four in just the club’s fourth season in the competition.

Wests Tigers, fresh off a stirring last-gasp win over the Titans in their farewell game at Leichhardt Oval before redevelopment, now face arguably their toughest assignment of the year against the form team of the competition.

The history between these two clubs has been predominantly the Dolphins’ beating the Sydney side since they joined the NRL.

With both sides feeling the Origin pinch midweek, Saturday’s clash at Campbelltown shapes as a genuine test of whether Benji Marshall’s men can stop the Dolphins claiming a seventh straight victory.

For the latest news, odds and analysis ahead of the latest installment of this matchup, check out our Tigers vs Dolphins tips and predictions below.

Tigers vs Dolphins Prediction and Betting Tips

Head-to-Head Prediction

The Wests Tigers have made five changes for this clash, their biggest loss being Kai Pearce-Paul to injury.

The Dolphins have not changed their side from last week’s dominance against the Sydney Roosters.

Origin adds a fascinating subplot, with Api Koroisau and Kulikefu Finefeuiaki both involved coming off the bench for their states at the MCG before returning to their clubs three days later.

Momentum is firmly with the visitors, who arrive unbeaten in six and fresh from a 48-10 demolition of the Roosters, an outcome that seemed unthinkable for the Dolphins before their winning run.

For the Tigers, the task is to carry over the energy from last week’s win over the Titans and avoid becoming the Dolphins’ seventh straight victim in what shapes as a defining test of whether they are a top-eight calibre team.

We expect the Dolphins to continue their head-to-head victory against the Tigers and continue their winning streak, leading into Round 17 when they play the Warriors, who are currently second on the ladder.
