Wests Tigers Women vs Canterbury Bulldogs Women Prediction

Thursday, July 10, 7:45pm AEST – Campbelltown Stadium

Kicking off NRLW round 2 are the Wests Tigers and the Canterbury Bulldogs at Campbelltown Stadium on Thursday night.

In their NRLW debut, the Doggies looked like a club who had been around for years as they shocked perennial powerhouses Newcastle to start life in the big time as winners.

The Tigers showed some fight in their opening match but were ultimately towelled up by the Broncos and we’re not giving them much hope here against the brilliant Bulldogs.

Head-to-head prediction: Canterbury Bulldogs Women.

Betting tip: Moana Courtenay first try scorer.

Canberra Raiders Women vs Cronulla Sharks Women Prediction

Saturday, July 12, 12:45pm AEST – GIO Stadium

Two teams who tasted defeat to start the season tangle here when the Raiders welcome the Sharks to the nation’s capital.

The Sharks were shocked by the Eels in a wasteful display, while the Raiders let the Dragons get away from them in a game they probably should have found a way to win.

Traditionally the Sharks have had more bite of the two, winning both of their previous meetings, however, we like the look of this Canberra setup and the systems they currently have in place. We’re taking the Green Machine at home in a close one.

Head-to-head prediction: Canberra Raiders.

Betting tip: Madison Bartlett first try scorer.

St George Illawarra Dragons Women vs Sydney Roosters Women Prediction

Saturday, July 12, 3:15pm AEST – Jubilee Stadium

St George could shape up to be the surprise packet of the 2025 NRLW season. They ambushed the Raiders on the road and now turn their sights towards the always dangerous Roosters.

While most of their key players starred, it was the performance of debutant Indie Bostock that really caught the eye, with the youngster grabbing two tries and an assist on her maiden NRL outing.

As impressive as there were, there are levels to this game and trying to topple a Chooks side boasting the likes of Jess Sergis, Isabelle Kelly, and Olivia Kernick.

As much as we like the Dragons, the Roosters were doing Rooster things last week, welcoming back the Warriors to the big time with a 30-6 demolition job in Sydney.

Spring another upset here, and we’ll have to fully admit the Dragons are the real deal, but for now we’ll be taking the Tri-colours in a tight one.

Head-to-head prediction: Sydney Roosters Women.

Betting tip: Indie Bostock anytime try scorer.

North Queensland Cowboys Women vs Newcastle Knights Women Prediction

Saturday, July 12, 5:15pm AEST – Queensland Country Bank Stadium

Usually also-rans in the NRLW, the Cowboys will be hoping to open their 2025 campaign with back-to-back wins when they welcome the Newcastle Knights to Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Saturday.

The girls from up north looked mighty impressive in their new setup which saw Jakiya Whitfeld move to fullback and Kira Dibb star at halfback.

Meanwhile, there’s only so much the Knights can do without the services of stars Tamika Upton (who now plays for the Broncos) and Hannah Southwell.

They should get Olivia Higgins back this week, but we doubt her presence will be enough to offset the absence of Upton and Southwell, particularly all the way up in Townsville.

Head-to-head prediction: North Queensland Cowboys Women.

Betting tip: Jakiya Whitfeld first try scorer.

New Zealand Warriors Women vs Parramatta Eels Women Prediction

Sunday, July 13, 11:50am AEST – Go Media Stadium

The Warriors return to the NRLW after five years away didn’t go to plan as they went down to the Sydney Roosters 30-6.

They get the chance to mark their return with a win at the second time of asking when they host the Parramatta Eels across the ditch on Sunday afternoon.

Unfortunately, we think the Wahs will have to keep on waiting for that win, Parra looked more than decent in their opening round win against the Sharks.

Head-to-head prediction: Parramatta Eels Women.

Betting tip: Rory Owen anytime try scorer.

Gold Coast Titans Women vs Brisbane Broncos Women Prediction

Sunday, July 13, 4:00pm AEST – Cbus Super Stadium

The final game of NRLW round 2 is a lopsided M1 derby. One look at the H2H odds and you’ll learn everything you need to know.

The Broncos are overwhelming favourites and rightly so. Unfortunately for the Titans it looks as if they are about to mirror the output of their male counterparts who currently occupy last place in the NRL. Brisbane by plenty here.

Head-to-head prediction: Brisbane Broncos Women.

Betting tip: Mele Hufanga first try scorer.
