Sydney Swans vs St Kilda Prediction - Round 13 2026

05/06/2026|Josh Jenkins|AFL Tips & Predictions

Sunday arvo footy in Sydney for Round 13 as the Swans host St Kilda at the SCG.

This match presents a tale of two clubs on opposite trajectories, with one side chasing perfection while the other fights to keep their season from slipping away.

Undefeated this season at the SCG, Sydney will attempt to retain their perfect record at home against the 12th placed Saints.

The Swans improved to an unblemished 6-0 record at the SCG in 2026 by utterly demolishing Richmond in a 170-56 onslaught last Saturday.

Isaac Heeney had a match for the ages on that afternoon, collected 32 disposals and five majors, while marquee forward Charlie Curnow cashed in up forward with an eight-goal masterclass.

The story is far less rosy down at Moorabbin, with St Kilda dropping to a painful third loss in four matches via its 119-67 defeat against Hawthorn last Thursday.

That horrific result came on the back of a disastrous first half which saw the Saints go into the half-time break trailing 55-5 their equal-lowest half-time score since way back in 1957.

Historical data shows that these two sides played out a classic last season, seeing Sydney claim a narrow 92-87 victory when these clubs met at Marvel Stadium.

This one is shaping up to be a sitter for Sydney – but one of the league’s most talented athletes in Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera is back in the Saints squad and will play a major role in this match.

Sydney Swans vs St Kilda Match Predictions and Betting Tips

Head-to-Head Prediction

The Swans handled Richmond in a typical, box-office Sydney way last week, booting 25 goals to treat their home fans to a spectacular show.

Charlie Curnow kicked eight, Isaac Heeney five, and Hayden McLean chime in with four majors in a thoroughly dominating display.

Ross Lyon's men will undoubtedly attempt to provide far more defensive resistance than the Tigers did, but it is hard to imagine their current structures pushing these red-hot Swans.

The long-term upside in the young Saints list is fairly visible to see, but it has simply yet to consistently come together for the tactical setup.

They must hang incredibly tough under the intense heat of the SCG from the opening bounce, or these rampant Swans will blow them away like many before them.

With Sydney's flawless ball movement firing on all cylinders and a partisan home crowd behind them, we expect the league leaders to prove far too classier across four quarters of footy.

Head-to-head prediction: Swans by 34 points.

First Goal Scorer Prediction

Charlie Curnow is in close to career-best form and has fast become the most terrifying matchup in the entire competition.

The superstar forward has scored in each of his last five games, including that stunning eight-major haul against Richmond last weekend.

With his confidence soaring, you would be absolutely crazy not to tip him to open the scoring against a fragile and bleeding St Kilda backline.

Betting tip: Charlie Curnow.

Most Disposals Prediction

We are expecting Isaac Heeney to completely tear up the midfield battle in this one.

The champion on-baller has won back-to-back Bob Skilton Medals for best player at the Swans and looks a magnificent chance to secure a historic third based on his current form in attack.

With his ability to float through the stoppages and accumulate contested possessions at will, expect him to comfortably lead the disposal sheet.

Betting tip: Isaac Heeney.
