St Kilda vs Western Bulldogs Prediction - Round 15 2026

19/06/2026|Josh Jenkins|AFL Tips & Predictions

Each occupying a Wild Card Finals position to begin Round 15, the 8th placed Dogs and 10th placed Saints meet at Marvel Stadium to close out Round 15.

The Saints trail the Dogs by eight competition points, but they’ll enter this match high on confidence after a strong win over GWS in round 14.

Liam Ryan was immense in that victory, slotting six majors, while Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera added 32 disposals for 775 metres gained, 12 score involvements and a goal.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs were humbled 121-64 by Adelaide, which included a disastrous 56-15 opening quarter in front of the home fans.

These two rivals have close to 150 years of bad blood and in 2026, the story is no different. The Barker-Whitten Challenge Plate is up for grabs again and these two clubs are stacked with stars.

We’re pumped to witness two of the best players in the comp do battle, as the footballing virtuoso that is Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera and the indefatigable Marcus Bontempelli clash this Sunday.

St Kilda vs Western Bulldogs Match Predictions and Betting Tips

Head-to-Head Prediction

A pair of passionate Marvel Stadium tenants throw down in what should be a spectacular way to finish off the weekend.

The Bulldogs were completely ambushed and obliterated in the first quarter against Adelaide last week and they’ll be desperate to rebound quickly.

Meanwhile, the Saints had to win on home soil against the Giants last week, and they got the job done.

One quick look at the ladder tells you everything you need to know about the stakes, as both teams desperately need these four premiership points.

Both clubs find themselves sitting right in the wildcard mix as things stand.

The Bulldogs will likely play a dangerous game of Russian roulette by allowing Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera free rein out of the back half.

On the flip side, Ross Lyon may also back his defensive system completely when it comes to slowing down the star power of Marcus Bontempelli and Ed Richards.

Only a win will do here, regardless of what the football looks like.

Head-to-head prediction: St Kilda Saints by seven points.

First Goal Scorer Prediction

Liam Ryan has been lethal in front of the sticks recently, kicking three, five and six goals in his last three matches for the Saints.

We can see the kid from Geraldton flying high early in this one and taking a screamer inside 50.

Nothing quite like Flyin’ Ryan at full leap.

Betting tip: Liam Ryan.

Most Disposals Prediction

We're expecting a huge one from Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera.

The highest paid player in the AFL is set to deliver against the Saints' traditional rivals after hitting a rich vein of form that has seen him record 28, 34, 31, 32, and 32 disposals in his last five matches.

The Dogs usually don't employ a dedicated tagger, so Nas will likely have a bit more room to work with than usual.

Nasiah to pick up some Brownlow votes and plenty of disposals in this one.

Betting tip: Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera.
