AFL Players to Watch - Round 15 2026

16/06/2026|Josh Jenkins|AFL Tips & Predictions

Round 15 of the AFL season is here and while we do have Brissy, the Dons, Swans and West Coast taking a week off – there are still plenty of stars on show this weekend.

Headline matches include the seemingly unbeatable Dockers facing a challenge against the Cats, the Suns hosting the Hawks and the Saints and Dogs doing battle to close out the weekend.

There’s plenty of players to keep an eye on every week and Round 15 is no different.

Whether you’re searching for a ball winning maniac, a goal kicking specialist or a tall timber primed to perform – we’ve got you covered.

For the inside lane on the best AFL bets, check out our list of players to watch in Round 15, below.

AFL’S Best Players to Watch in Round 15

Ben Keays and Kozzy Pickett - Adelaide Crows and Melbourne Demons

Some players seem to have a special connection with particular patches of grass.

Think Wayne Carey at Arden Street, Warney at the G, Federer at Wimbledon or indeed the Dees at the MCG this year.

Both Ben Keays and Kysaiah Pickett have turned the South Australian venue into their personal playground recently.

Look at the stats sheet and you’ll see that both forwards have kicked two or more goals in each of their last five games at the venue.

With the Crows and Dees set for a Saturday afternoon blockbuster, expect both of these boys to kick at LEAST two each.

Betting tip: Ben Keays and Kozzy Pickett to kick two+ goals each.

Harry Sheezel - North Melbourne Kangaroos

Can you believe in his last two games against the Tigers, Harry’s had 54 and 39 disposals.

In his last five games against the poor Richmond Club he’s averaged 35.8. Sheezel absolutely loves this match up.

I’m expecting Harry to stay true to form and go off in this one – get on the value here.

Betting tip: Harry Sheezel 35+ disposals.

Jordan Sweet - Port Adelaide

This season, Collingwood have given up the most disposals in the comp to opposition ruckmen.

Jordan Sweet is looking in fine form, averaging 16.5 in his last two games vs 12.8 for the rest of the year.

I reckon Sweets will make the Pies pay this weekend - get on Jordan for 16+.

Betting tip: Jordan Sweet 16+ disposals.

Caleb Serong - Fremantle Dockers

We’re expecting Serong to be back for the Dockers after having a rest over the bye, at time of writing the team has not been named – but if he lines up against the Cats – he’s definitely one of my bolters for Round 15.

I think Serong escapes the Mullin tag, he’ll go to either Bolton or Brayshaw.

Last 5 games he’s averaged 27.2 disposals.

There's a generous line here – I like him OVER 23.5 disposals against Geelong; surely this is a walk for Serong!

Caleb Serong is a great player to watch and the Dockers premier viewing at the moment too.

Betting tip: Caleb Serong OVER 23.5 disposals. (If he is named on Thursday).

Mitch Lewis - Hawthorn Hawks

Here’s a fun stat - Gold Coast rank 17th in the comp for giving up the most goals against key forwards in the last five games.

This stat may be slightly blown out by recent pummellings at the hands of Brisbane and Geelong, but the point stands.

One of either Gunston or Hardwick will play the deep role. I reckon Lewis still hits the scoreboard a couple of times this weekend.

Betting tip: Mitch Lewis to kick two+ goals.
