Richmond Tigers vs Brisbane Lions Prediction - Round 14 2026
11/06/2026|Josh Jenkins|AFL Tips & PredictionsTeetering on the edge of finals contention at 9th on the ladder, Brisbane will travel to face the lowly Richmond Tigers in Hobart on Sunday afternoon.
Brisbane bounced back from consecutive losses against Geelong, GWS and Fremantle to overcome Gold Coast 106-75 in the Qclash last Saturday.
Young gun Logan Morris dominated that fixture with seven goals, while Lachie Neale was at his brilliant best, totalling 37 disposals, 19 contested possessions, 10 clearances and 10 score involvements.
The Lions need another confidence builder here to get some momentum as they head into some tough matchups vs Sydney and Geelong in rounds 16 and 17.
Richmond on the other hand had their bye during Round 13, and it couldn’t have come at a better time given the side’s latest performance, which was a disastrous 170-56 loss to Sydney at the SCG.
The Tigers will come into this match feeling fresh like the air in Tassie, but it’s unlikely to have much bearing on the result here as they face the back-to-back reigning premiers who seemed to hit their stride just last week.

Richmond Tigers vs Brisbane Lions Match Predictions and Betting Tips
Head-to-Head Prediction
For the non-believers, Brisbane made you believe again for the 13th time since the beginning of 2024.
They went to work and handled their little Queensland brothers last week. Zac Bailey was great around the ball, Lachie Neale was dominant as usual and young superstar Logan Morris kicked 7.4 in a truly epic display.
For the Tigers, enthusiasm and effort is the keys here. The reigning champs might not be in their A1 state of mind, giving the Tiger Cubs a chance to jump them.
Of course, this one is in Tasmania, so overall enthusiasm for the contest might not be there from many. Including us.
Expect the Lions to assert their class early and dictate the tempo from the centre bounces.
Betting tip: Brisbane Lions by 41 points.
First Goal Scorer Prediction
After witnessing a stellar performance, young gun Logan Morris is our pick here.
Morris kicked seven goals against the Gold Coast last week, and he really could go anywhere.
With his confidence shooting through the roof and a mismatched Richmond backline to exploit, expect his teammates to feed Logan early inside to get the scoring underway in Tassie.
Betting tip: Logan Morris.
Most Disposals Prediction
Lachie Neale has a strong case to lead the stats sheet again in this one.
He was back to his best last week against the Gold Coast, notching up 37 disposals - quality ones too, not just stat-padding like certain players who will remain nameless.
There are whispers that Lachie’s looking to move elsewhere at the end of the season; let’s just say if that’s true, the motivation to perform is certainly there for Neale to secure a favourable new contract.
He’s in for a big one in Hobart.
Betting tip: Lachie Neale.
