MATTIAZO (4) finished fifth two runs back at Turffontein Inside then improved last time out to score by 3.5 lengths over 1600m at Turffontein Standside. Winner here already. Looks well placed so expect another big run. GOLDEN ASPEN (8) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only one length over 1400m at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. CAN'T CATCH ME (10) turned in a fine effort to win by one length at this track and distance last start in a much improved run. Likely to be there at the finish again. MADAME POMPADOUR (12) produced a better run last start, beaten 4 lengths into fifth over 1400m at this track. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
