MR MCDONALD (7) turned in a nice debut run, winding up strongly and finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in second over 1400m at Greyville All Weather. Has upside and can open his account. PAST AND PRESENT (1) is returning from a spell of six-and-a-half months. Finished sixth at Durbanville over 1400m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Michael Miller. Has found the right race and can take this out. DIRECTOR (13) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations first-up at Greyville, finishing tenth and beaten 16 lengths over 1600m. Has the class to take this out. DONMAGOO (4) finished 6 lengths from the winner in fourth at his most recent appearance over 1200m at Greyville. This looks a nice race so expect him to finish closer.
