SOLDIEROFTHESTORM (3) only found a progressive rival too strong when a very promising runner-up making chase debut at Haydock. Proven form on soft ground tackling this trip and could prove a major player racing off 1kg higher for a yard that appears to be turning a corner. NORN IRON (4) was somewhat disappointing when a beaten favourite at Windsor last time. Unexposed over fences and could do better now stepping up in journey. RISK DE PLUIE (5) proved a model of consistency tackling fences. Shaped as though the step back up in distance would be a big plus when third at Exeter. Consider.
