Well placed on this occasion and gets her chance to break the ice. MISS NOVIE (7) has been in the placings at her last two starts, finishing second last time when she was prominent throughout over 1106m at this track (Dirt). Looks well placed so expect another big run. R J'S GIRL (3) will find this a little easier than her third on debut three weeks ago, beaten 14 lengths at the end of 1106m at this track (Dirt). Sure to take a lot from that hitout so she is a strong chance. RANDI'S GIRL (6) is a two-year-old filly who is having her first run for the Devon Dougherty barn. Finished off last campaign with a tenth at Saratoga (Dirt) three-and-a-half months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but is in a nice race. Can run a bold race.
