RAGATONY (3) turned in a much better effort last start when beaten only 1.3 lengths into second at this track (Dirt) over 1308m. Has managed five minor placings from six runs at this circuit. Among the leading chances. SAM'S GLORY (2) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1308m at this track, beaten 9 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time. JOSEPH POTATO (1) was in the money two starts back at Colonial Downs Turf but couldn't back it up last time when eighth, beaten 28 lengths, at this track (Dirt) over 1308m. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BUTTER MAN (6) is a three-year-old gelding who has just one minor placings to his name in seven starts. Failed to threaten when fresh from a spell last start, beaten 6 lengths into fourth over 1609m at Meadowlands (Turf). Should do much better.
