THE DOG THIEF (7) is lightly raced and can continue to improve. Scored nicely over 4100m by 1L forty days ago. Makes for plenty of appeal and holds a lot of potential from this opening mark. JACK HYDE (3) arrives in winning form and warrants respect. He scored by a nose over 3200m at Ludlow last month and can be feared having returned to his best. KING JON OLIVER (8) was a beaten favourite last time however may improve. Disappointed in that 9.25L defeat and cannot be ruled out on the evidence of his 7.5L maiden hurdle triumph at Fakenham in January. GO DANTE (2) failed to land a third Imperial Cup in a row. Down in grade and might run well.
