SUWALKI GAP (6) was 5.5 lengths from the winner in fourth over 1400m at San Isidro last time, following a minor placing on debut the run before. Strong chance in this line-up. GREAT AND SPLENDID (7) is back from a spell of nine weeks. Closed last prep with a fourth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 1400m on the dirt course here. This sets up nicely. HALOTANO (8) stepped up to the mile for the first time last start at San Isidro, and after looking a winning chance halfway down the straight he faded to finish well back. Has a high cruising speed, and he will take some pegging back in this. RELATOR WINE (3) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1600m at San Isidro. Fitter and sure to run well.
