ACADEMUS (2) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then was beaten 1.75 lengths when fifth over 1600m at San Isidro four weeks ago. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. POLARIS E (3) produced a reasonable effort when third last start over 1600m at San Isidro, beaten 1.5 lengths. That followed a win at San Isidro the start prior. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot make amends. EXULTANT (4) recorded another minor placing last time out, finishing 1.5 lengths away in second over 1800m here on the dirt course. Likely improver with strong prospects. ESPECULADOR (5) got the prize two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when sixth over 2000m at San Isidro. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
