ORPEN MASK (6) was well in the market last time and made it two minor placings from as many runs this prep when a head away in second over 1200m at this track. Good chance to break through. EL IRIDICENTE (3) is coming off a last-start fifth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 1200m at this track. One of the key contenders. EL DE KAMA (5) resumed over 1300m at Tandil last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by 1.5 lengths. Open to plenty of improvement and looks sure to run well again. Can make it back-to-back wins. QUE ROMANO (2) was out of the money two runs back then, again missed the frame last start over 1200m at San Isidro, beaten 8 lengths into fifth. Going up a level this time, but he is good enough to play a major role.
