EL ANGUS (3) finished out of the money two starts back, then was fourth over 1300m at this track 4 weeks ago. Well placed, and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. MODERNO (1) is back from a year's spell. He debuted with a third, beaten 2.25 lengths, over 1200m at San Isidro at his only appearance to date. Deserves serious consideration. BUSCAVIDAS (9) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing eighth last start over 1200m at this track five-and-a-half weeks ago. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Should give backers a sight.
