ALAS TRIGGER (1) was safely held when third last start over 1200m at La Plata, beaten 3 lengths. That followed a good first-up win at La Plata. Taking on a better line-up this time, but he deserves plenty of thought. GAIOS (6) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing eighth when starting at $9.85. Taking on a better line-up this time, but he has the ability to mix it with them. EL IRIDICENTE (3) has not appeared since he saluted over 1000m at this track on October 5. Makes plenty of appeal.
