ALCANTOR (1) could prove too good on debut for Joseph O'Brien. The ex-Andre Fabre performer was only beaten 1L when fourth in the G1 Prix du Moulin at Longchamp during September. This looks a very winnable starting point in Ireland. CATALINA DELCARPIO (8) rates next best. Shaped well tackling this 1600m trip on comeback in the G3 Park Express Stakes thirty seven days ago. Course and distance winner MISSISSIPPI RIVER (4) delivered a 3L comeback fifth attempting the Listed Heritage Stakes twenty five days ago which managed to catch the eye. EXCELLENT BELIEVE (2) is an intriguing British contender. His 5.25L third in the Listed Doncaster Mile was encouraging.
