VALENTINO ECLIPSE (5) can strike on debut. He is related to some decent performers including talented handicapper Thunder Eclipse and three-time winner Young Emperor. This looks a winnable starting point and warrants thought. KHAFAR (10) brings some good form. He was second for Charlie Hills in a 1200m Newbury maiden last August and that gives him a leading chance. GOOMAH (9) was a 4.5L sixth at Dundalk last time. May progress again providing her third start. CARMEL VALLEY (7) is another to watch. She has shown a little bit of promise so far. Improvement is required after a 10L seventh in a 1400m Limerick maiden.
