MAIDSTONE (4) won a 1500m Mülheim handicap by 2L on very soft going after a fourth over this course and distance. She also boasts an earlier mile success at Hamburg and sets the standard. FLYING MACS (2) won a 1400m Düsseldorf handicap after a half-length second tackling 1300m here. The longer journey remains her main question. NARESH (5) was third behind the selection at Mülheim but finished 8L adrift of the winner. He needs improvement to reverse that form. CHILI VALENTINO (7) was another 4.5L back in fourth in the same contest. Stall one and Rene Piechulek offer encouragement although reversing that result looks demanding.
