MASIBA (1) missed out by a head over 2400m at Baden-Baden before finishing sixth on heavy turf. An earlier Hamburg win at 2000m suggests this intermediate trip should suit. AURUM SKY (2) won handicaps tackling 2100m and 2450m before registering a fourth at Mannheim. His stamina and consistent record appeal in this amateur final. MANTERLEY (4) was third contesting 2500m at Mannheim but has struggled over shorter journeys since. Returning to 2200m offers some hope. MADE IN PEPPER (8) has twice placed third during the summer and previously filled the frame at 2150m. Her latest sand fourth was fair but she needs considerably more on turf.
