GREAT VENEZUELA (11) displayed plenty of early toe over 1106m at this track (Synthetic) last time and went on to score by 2.5 lengths. Enjoys a drop in grade so she is perfectly placed to score. SPIRITED BOSS (6) raced on the speed from the outset and went to score by 1.5 lengths last time over 1710m at Tampa Bay Downs (Turf). I Ortiz Jr is back on and has a solid record on the four-year-old, including two wins. One of the main contenders. RUGELACH (9) raced on the speed when resuming last start and battled on well but found one better over 1609m at Tampa Bay Downs (Turf). Goes well at this journey with three wins and three placings from seven starts and is one of the better hopes.
