LAYDELAY (1) could only manage sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten only 1.75 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. DESERT CLOUD (3) is back from a spell of ten weeks. Raced once last campaign and finished second over 1400m at Fairview. Goes well at this trip, recording three minor placings and is sure to run well. STONE OF SCONE (2) is resuming from a spell of nine weeks and having her first run for the Dean Smith yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Turffontein Inside over 1200m. One of the genuine hopes in the race. KENTUCKY LASSIE (10) was lining up for just the second time last start when fifth over 1200m at this track, beaten 1.0 lengths. Backmarker who gets home hard. Should be thereabouts again.
