FADE TO GOLD (4) finished last campaign with a couple of minor placings, the latest over 1673m at Fairgrounds seven months ago. Should camp just off the leaders. Expected to be in the finish. AWREE (8) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fourth over 1509m at this track (Dirt). Hard to beat in this suitable race. ECLAIR N TOT (10) proved too strong two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when ninth over 1509m at Louisiana Downs Turf, beaten 15 lengths. Worth another chance.
