BETSY LOUISE (10) lines up for the first time since August 14. Looking to emulate her win at Evangeline Downs when returning from a spell last prep. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Brett Brinkman. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. WHAT A HANGOVER (9) was in the firing line all the way and fought on for third last start over 1207m at Louisiana Downs (Dirt), making it two minor placings in a row. Will be handy in running despite the tricky draw. Steps up a level but she is up to the task. EXPLODING CIRCLE (1) is back from a break of three-and-a-half months. Raced below par at her only appearance last prep when fifth over 1006m at Evangeline Downs (Dirt). Should settle handy in the run. Should be involved in the finish. BABY JANE (6) finished a 8 length fifth on dirt at Evangeline Downs two back. Switched to turf last time at Evangeline Downs Turf over 1509m and again missed the frame, finishing a 5 length sixth. Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and must be respected.
