CHARMING STAR (9) produced a good effort last start when second over 1000m at this track to make it three minor placings from six starts this preparation. Has the early speed to cross from out wide. Best form puts her right in this. IL IMPERATORE (1) doesn't win out of turn but ran a nice race last time out over 1000m at this track, finishing third and beaten 0.1 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the key runners. MIGHTY SYMPHONY (5) last appeared when she finished fourth over 1100m at this track on October 30. Has switched to the Arturo R Acevedo stable. Looks a strong top-three prospect. MERCENARIA (7) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1100m at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Suitably placed so she can feature again.
