KASHGAR (6) is a distance specialist who progressed nicely last time out to finish just half a length from the winner in second over 1100m at this track. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the key runners. IRON STAR (9) had been rock-solid with two placings in a row before finishing seventh over 1100m at this track last start. Should be prominent from the outset. One of the main contenders. MY HERO (2) scored two back at this track but was below his best last time when fifth over 1100m at this track. Should be thereabouts in this suitable race.
