Slender preference goes to VENDOMYA (11) who has won two of her last six outings and arrives in good heart following a solid second over course and distance 23 days ago. She remains lightly raced after eight starts to date and could yet have more to give. AMIRAL D'AUMONT (7) finished fifth in that handicap and might be able to play a major role off a 0.5kg lower mark. The top weight MEHLANGO (1) was an excellent third in a Class Two handicap at Longchamp in October and should be thereabouts if running to a similar level from stall five. Another to note is ATHINEOS (2) who races off 3kg higher than when running out a 5L winner of a Saint-Cloud handicap last time.
