YONAGUNI (5) completed a second turf victory gaining a narrow 1300m success at Bursa on very soft ground last week. His previous third over this distance at Ankara suggests a return to this longer journey will suit. FORTISSIMO (2) secured four consecutive dirt wins including twice at 1400m. Only grass outing resulted in a placing so the switch remains a concern. NALDÖKEN (7) finished just behind the main selection in their latest meeting and has also been runner-up tackling track and trip. KING BALDWIN (4) managed to win a local conditions event before fourths against stronger opposition. The brief break might prove beneficial.
