QUICK TO ACCUSE (1) returns from a spell of ten weeks. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when fifth over 1609m at Saratoga (Dirt). Has switched to the Fernando Abreu stable over the break. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal while fresh. SARA'S SHAMAN (2) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 1408m at this track (Dirt). This doesn't look as hard so he is likely to play a big role. EXPENSIVE CUT (6) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time over 1710m at this track (Dirt) after he was well back on straightening. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. CHIEF LIAM (4) finished tenth over 1609m at Aqueduct (Dirt) at his most recent appearance on December 4. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
