Last year's runner-up (when a $2.80 fave) ROBUSTO is here again. Last year he approached this off a 2nd in the Buffering at Eagle Farm as well but this year he is on the one week backup, last year there was 14 days between. He has been quite a steadfast 'fortnight between runs' galloper across his career; the quickest backup I can find was 11 days (twice, ran well both times). Sometimes we can worry too much about these things. Draws widest as well! KNOW THYSELF slipped around at double figures 1st-up and rewarded the loyal in an exciting finish. Going to the mile a big plus. Unknown around here though.
