DRUTHERS steps up 400m to the staying trip for the first time but does have the benefit of a nice foundation of three runs at 1600m to have him ready. Outsprinted in the straight last time, but stuck on like he would stay on over longer trip. PRO SHOW improved with the benefit of a run in the 2000m range when narowly getting beaten over this trip last start and had trouble building momentum from the 400m when held up until straightening. BIRATU raced on pace in town in a big run on race at 1800 two starts back, but looked more dynamic running on late over 1600m and found some traffic early in the straight. FLASH OF DALLAS was a last start beneficiary of a lovely ride and a hard gallop up front when slicing through late.
