YOU NEVER CAN TELL sat up on the pace, in a hard run race early, in a what was a strong BM56 last time finishing close up in a three way drive to the line. SEETHRU jumped out well in preparation for a return and the blinkers are back on. Bandages front and back are off, another positive sign. Started $3.40 against Group1placed Zambardo in town and was only beaten 1.75l! PAINT ME RED has a strong profile here at the track and hinted he was close when running up on a good tempo and was the best on pacer in the finish. BOW RIBBON was ridden cold in most recent starts, after being up closer when too keen. Ran home well and looked like 1600m would suit.
