SIXTH GENERATION (8) stepped back up to this grade after winning at Arawa Park in November, and his 3 starts since then at this level have all had merit, including his last start sixth at Ellerslie 17 days ago. A repeat of that effort will take him close to winning this. WINGMAN (7) has also been holding his form this season, and he will find this easier than his last start at Trentham just over 3 weeks ago. This is his pet trip, and he can find some good form again. He has only been lightly tried for a 6-year-old gelding, and if he doesn't need the run, then he can take this out. ARCHAIC SMILE (3) tried her heart out in the G3 TAB Mile at Riccarton in the spring, and resumes here without having had a trial. If fit, then she has to be respected.
