ALTEZZA (5) tried her best when finishing third at Otaki nearly 3 weeks ago, and the winner that day has a very bright future. She will have no fitness concerns fifth up from a spell, and looks to be the one to beat in this even field. SHES WONDERING (6) bolted in to win her maiden at Tauherenikau in her penultimate start, and then did not have much luck at Trentham in a stronger field there 11 days ago. The key here is having Craig Grylls in the irons, and she can bounce straight back into the money here. WIGMORE (2) won her maiden nearly 4 weeks ago at Tauherenikau over a mile, and has had a quiet trial since then. He steps straight up to a middle distance at only his fourth career start, and can repeat the dose. GLORAFILIA (4) has been thereabouts this season and was fourth at Taupo a month ago when trying to make all the running there a month ago. Stick with her on an each-way basis. PHATS (3) has been very disappointing, but is again worth one more chance.
