SHE'S A BOSS (3) has made progress in her first prep, and she fought on gamely for second at Avondale 9-days ago over 1200m. She gets to have another go over 1400m, and in a field that lacks depth, she should be hard to beat. NIAGARA SKY (4) ran a much better race when finishing fifth at Cambridge on a poly track for the first time. She will be peaking third up from a spell, and both of her wins have been on wet turf surfaces. Stick with her. DERRYNGER (10) ran her best race yet fresh up at Hawera nearly a fortnight ago when finishing second. The manner in which she found the like that day suggests that an extra 200m will suit her, and she can figure in the finish again. JUNGLE JANE (2) has needed both of her runs back from a spell, and she has been a third up winner in the past. Each way value, especially with Lisa Allpress in the irons. MISS DIXIE (11) may be ridden more positively this time early on, and we feel a form reversal would be no surprise. Each way value.
