On pace runners, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10. CLANWILLIAM performed above market place expectations in defeat on the Kensington track despite becoming unsuited on the day. He was produced fresh on the day and he presents fresh again here over the same journey. He will do so with scope to further improve. CLAUDEL has handed in honest efforts at all three starts to date. Stepping up to tackle this trip can now aid her cause. SALOON PASSAGE was beaten at short odds at Hawkesbury but there were excuses and she can atone today without causing a surprise. GLISSANDO wasn't disgraced on debut last start when she tackled 1150m in a race that wasn't run to suit her. Expect her to relish the awaiting distance rise today.
