Check the market. EGYPTIAN QUEEN (4) was sent for a spell after being late scratched before her last run just over 10 months ago. She has had a couple of tune-up trials last month, and is nicely placed after a 3kg claim. She should go close here, especially if any money comes for her. PLATINUM DESIGNS (5) resumes from a spell and has won fresh up in the past. His record over this trip is only modest, but he is stronger now, and from a decent gate, he can't be taken lightly. RABEGA (7) has only been lightly tried, and his record is very good, adding a win to those stats here 6 weeks ago. He likes the track and can repeat the dose. COOPER (3) was beaten by a wide draw at Te Rapa 4 weeks ago, and was a big fresh up winner here before that. He is better placed on this track, so go again.
