BONNARD (7) raced well in the spring on wet tracks, and then resumed from a spell and was too good for BM65 company at Waverley just over 2 weeks ago, scoring by more than a length. He drops 3kg with the rise in class, and he can repeat the dose. CHEVAL DE FOUDRE (2) dug deep and fought on gamely for third fresh up after a long spell at Otaki in a handy field. He generally improves with racing, and he should be a lot sharper with that run under his belt. Can win. SAY I DO (8) has come of age this year, and made it 2 wins on the bounce at Whanganui nearly 3 weeks ago. She is likely to race on the pace, which can be an advantage on this track, and the hat-trick beckons. KICK ON (1) may need the run, but he is still worth including in combos.
