PLATINUM PANTHEON (1) trekked down South in the spring and won a couple of races, beating a handy field at Riccarton in the last of those. He has then deliberately put aside for a spell, and is fresh up without a trial here. He has plenty of talent and can take this out. QUEEN'S EVIDENCE (2) tackled some good fields in the spring, and then was fourth at Ellerslie 2 starts back off a freshen up, before proving to be too good at Whanganui 3 weeks ago when scoring by a neck. She is spot on for this assignment, and she can repeat the dose. CHEERIO (6) bolted in when resuming at Ruakaka, and then was beaten but not disgraced in the G3 Levin Classic here 4 weeks ago. Stick with her. PASSIFLORA (3) is a very speedy filly resuming from a spell. She won a recent trial, and will be ready to rumble fresh up.
