MISS JONES (2) relocated to NZ earlier in the season, and has won both of her starts here over 1200m, including her latest at TRENTHAM in a small but good field. She can race on the pace and can complete the hat-trick. MOON GODDESS (6) is up from the South Island after finishing runner-up as the favourite at Wingatui a fortnight ago. She is another ex-Australian-trained runner, and she will put in another honest effort here. LADY IMPENDING (3) won her first 2 starts on the bounce at Arawa Park, and then was well beaten at Ellerslie nearly 3 weeks ago over 1400m. She is much better placed in this field, and she can bounce straight back into the money here. PRECIPICE (1) was an easy maiden winner here in his penultimate start, and then had no chance from a wide gate at Tauranga last time out. He has a better gate here and is worth another chance. I'M FEELING LUCKY (4) won her maiden on the West Coast at Omoto, and then was close up in fourth place at Wingatui. Stick with her.
