End the arvo with a 1400m Open Hcp. No's 6 and 7 look to be the pace, not at all sure who stalks but it would be a wise plan if the horse is comfortable to be doing just that. Weights and measures, map foremost in mind I reckon you have to give RUSSIAN MINT and SWEET KISSES plenty of thought. Both love racing here, the latter is the one more likely to see the distance albeit the former is untried. The rule is, until they fail don't doubt. BURRANEER BUOY is six from nine at Townsville, deserves anything but the outside draw, this is the biggest field he's encountered here. ASTRA STAR draws to get its chance.
