VIERATA started favourite here on debut but just found one better closing stages. He will be better from that race experience and inside gate a bonus. He can get away with this. HEART OF VIENNA showed plenty pf speed here last start and was only nabbed final stages. If she can cross from wide gate and find the fence she will take catching. TIGER ROCKET raced on the speed and stuck on for minor spot here last start. He should get right run and win again while MONDAY CLOSE was only overran late at Cairns last start and he is a must for first four players.

Townsville Racecourse is one of Australia's top provincial racecourses, and is located in the suburb of Cluden. It is operated by the Townsville Turf Club. The first meeting at Townsville Racecourse took place over three days in August 1866. The track has a circumference of 1680 metres and a final straight of 310 metres.
