MISS JONES (1) has been superbly placed to win all 3 of her starts since relocating from Australia earlier in the season, and her last 2 wins at Trentham have been very convincing. She is at the top of the handicaps now, but she is still the one to beat here. SARTI (2) had a private reputation and was given plenty of time to mature before producing a huge run to score on debut, letting down impressively to score by nearly a length. He is bred to be good, and he looks the type to go right on with it now. Go again. TRACK TESTER (3) showed a lot of ticker when leading all the way to score his maiden win here just over 3 weeks ago. He will continue to improve when he steps up in trip, and if 1200m is not already too short for him, then he should be a top 3 chance again. PORTLAND (9) has been runner-up in his last 3 starts, including his last run here behind the top pick in the same race. Stick with him. VELVET BLUE (4) won his maiden in a 4-horse field last start. Include in all combos.
